Purpose
To help the Ranger teams keep the park safe and tidy for wildlife and visitors. Volunteer on your own or as part of a team to collect and bag up small rubbish items, report fly tips and any other hazards to the Ranger teams.
Details of role
To assist with litter picking within Lee Valley Regional Park.
To collect and bag up items using appropriate PPE (provided by the Ranger teams).
To leave bagged up items in a safe place for collection by the Rangers team or one of our contractors.
To report any fly tipping or hazards to the Ranger teams.
Personal attributes
Should be of an active nature
Should have a basic knowledge of the park
Must carry a mobile phone if they intend to litter pick alone
Should ideally have access to a smart phone with the what3words app and WhatsApp but not essential
