History

The club was set up by a group of men who were unable to join local private clubs as they did not have playing handicaps. Leaside Golf Club has taken novice and skilled golfers alike to handicap level and although some moved on, many stayed after they had their handicaps. The group registered with the Royal and Ancient Golf Club and Leaside Golf Club was born! The club is run by a committee elected by the club members and operated on a voluntary basis.
