Standard FAQs

How do I get to ride the BMX track?

BMX is a fun and exhilarating sport enjoyed by millions across the globe and if you've not tried it before, now's your chance! You don't need to have ridden a BMX before but as long as you can ride a bike without stabilisers, are aged 7 or over and a minimum height 127cm / 4ft 2in you can join one of our taster sessions.

Skills sessions are also available to help you develop your skills in various areas.

What should I wear?

For BMX you must wear a full face cycling helmet and full finger gloves. Legs, upper body and arms must be covered at all times. Flat soled trainers must be worn.

We recommend the following:

  • Body armour, knee and elbow pads, cycling glasses.
  • Full Finger Gloves
  • Two layers of clothing on your upper body (preferably fairly close fitting)

Can I cycle when pregnant?

Unfortunately we do not allow women who are pregnant to cycle any of our tracks or circuits whilst pregnant.
