2019 #MyLeeValley Competition Terms and Conditions 

1. These terms and conditions (“Terms and Conditions”) govern the My Lee Valley (“Competition”)
2. The promoter of this Competition is Lee Valley Regional Park Authority of Myddelton House, Bulls Cross, Enfield, Middlesex EN2 9HG (“Promoter”). 
3. The prizes are one of the following to be selected as set out in term 21 below:

Four free spaces on a public skating session Lee Valley Ice Centre

One family pass to the Summer Bounce & Sports Beach for up to four people Lee Valley White Water Centre
One Track Taster experience for two people Lee Valley VeloPark
One Raft Adventure voucher for two people  Lee Valley White Water Centre
A two night stay in a Safari Tent at for up to five adults  Lee Valley Campsite, Dobbs Weir
Private gardens tour for up to four people Myddelton House Gardens
A two night wild camping stay for up to six people  Lee Valley Almost Wild Campsite, Broxbourne
(each a “Prize”). 
4. The winners will be responsible for arranging their own transportation to and from the venue as well as any other expenses related to the enjoyment of the Prize. 
Can I enter this Competition? 
5.  The Competition is open to UK residents aged 18 years and over. The Prize shall be dispatched to a valid UK postal address or to the UK entrant’s email address or social media only. Entrants who cease to fulfil any of these criteria at any time prior to the award of the Prize will be disqualified, even if they met the criteria at the time of entry. 
6. No purchase or entry fee is necessary to enter this Competition. 
7. The Competition is not open to the Promoter’s employees, suppliers or those who have been involved in setting up or running this Competition. 
8. The Promoter reserves the right to verify all entries including but not limited to asking for address and identity details (which the entrant must provide within 14 days) and to refuse to award the Prize or withdraw the Prize entitlement and/or to disqualify the entrant where there are reasonable grounds to believe there has been a breach of these Terms and Conditions or otherwise where an entrant has gained unfair advantage in participating in the Competition or won using fraudulent means. 
9. The Promoter does not accept any responsibility for entries delayed, incomplete or lost due to technical reasons or otherwise. 
10. Any entries which contain abusive, inappropriate or offensive language will be disqualified from the Competition.
How do I enter the Competition? 
11. To enter the Competition, you need to follow us and upload at least one picture of your day out in the Lee Valley Regional Park onto either your Facebook, Twitter or Instagram account with the hashtag #MyLeeValley  
12. The Competition opens at 09:00 on 01 July 2019 and closes at 23:59 on 31 August 2019.
13. Any entries received after 23:59 on 31 August 2019 will not be entered into the Competition.
14. You may only submit one entry to the Competition.
15. The Promoter will not accept entries that are:
a) automatically generated by computer;
b) completed by third parties or in bulk;
c) illegible, have been altered, reconstructed, forged or tampered with; or
d) incomplete.
16. Entries on behalf of another person will not be accepted and joint submissions are not allowed.
17. The Promoter will not amend any contact information once the entry has been submitted.
How are the Winners selected? 
18. Three winners will be selected at random from all valid entries under the supervision of an independent person. The draw will take place shortly after the Competition closes. 
19. The Promoter will endeavour to contact the winners on or after 7 September 2019  (“Announcement Date”) using the social media platform on which the winner submitted their entry with instructions for selecting their Prize.
20. The winners must confirm acceptance of the Prize to the Promoter by following the instructions provided by the Promoter. 
21. The first winner shall be entitled to select one prize from the full list in 3; the second winner shall be entitled to select one prize from the list in 3 excluding the prize selected by the first winner and the third winner shall be entitled to select one prize from the list in 3 excluding the prizes selected by the first winner and second winners.
22. If a winner does not claim their Prize within 7 days of the Announcement Date, it will be forfeited. 
23.  The Promoter reserves the right to pick an alternative winner if the Prize is not claimed.
24. If the Prize offered is unavailable due to circumstances beyond the control of the Promoter, the Promoter can offer an alternative prize of equal or greater value. The Prize is non-exchangeable, non-transferable and there is no cash alternative. 
What else do you need to know? 
Legal Information 
25. The Promoter must either publish or make available information that indicates that a valid award took place. To comply with this obligation the Promoter will publish the surnames and counties of the winners on https://www.visitleevalley.org.uk/en/content/cms/home/my-lee-valley/my-lee-valley-competition on 14 September 2019 (Announcement Date).
26. If you object to any or all of your surname and county being published or made available, please contact the Promoter: press@leevalleypark.org.uk. In such circumstances, the Promoter must still provide the information and winning entry to the Advertising Standards Authority on request.
27. Neither the Promoter nor its contractors will be liable (to the extent permitted by law) for any loss or damage, injury or disappointment incurred or suffered, arising out of organising or holding this Competition or as a result of your participation in the Competition and any activities the winners and/ their guest undertake in connection with the Prize or whilst travelling to and from the venue, or if the Competition does not run as planned. This clause does not seek to exclude the liability of either the Promoter or its contractors for (a) death or personal injury caused by the Promoter or its contractors’ negligence, (b) fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, and/or (c) any other matter for which it would be unlawful for the Promoter and its contractors to exclude or attempt to exclude their liability. 
28.  The Promoter shall not be liable for any failure to comply with its obligations where the failure is caused by something outside of its reasonable control. Such circumstances shall include, but not limited to, weather conditions, fire, flood, hurricane, strike, industrial dispute, war, hostilities, political unrest, riots, terrorist attack, civil commotion, inevitable accidents, supervening legislation or any other circumstances amounting to force majeure. 
29. The Promoter can change these Terms and Conditions or cancel the Competition at its discretion and without incurring liability as a result. The Promoter reserves the right to 
void, cancel, amend or suspend the Competition where necessary with or without notice. 
30. The Promoter is committed to protecting your privacy and security. Whenever you provide personal information, the Promoter will treat that information in accordance with our Privacy Notice and current Data Protection legislation. 31. You consent to your data being stored and processed in the United Kingdom by the Promoter for the purpose of contacting you if you win the Prize and to organise its delivery. 
32. The decision of the Promoter is final and no correspondence in relation to the Promoter’s exercise of its rights in accordance with these Terms and Conditions will be entered into. 
33. These Terms and Conditions and any disputes arising from them are governed by the laws of England and Wales and the exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts of England and Wales. 
34. The invalidity, illegality, or unenforceability of the whole or any part of the Terms and Conditions does not affect or impair the continuation in force of the remainder of the Terms and Conditions.
