Keeping you safe

Keeping you safe

Throughout the Coronavirus outbreak, keeping our visitors, staff and volunteers safe has been our top priority. We’ve reviewed the Government’s latest advice and, with the help of a new booking system alongside changes to the way we run our campsites, we plan to reopen from 1 August and start welcoming you back
To help ensure everyone’s safety we’ve implemented the following:

NHS Test and Trace

  • When visiting our venues you must check in with the NHS Test and Trace app as required by Government guidelines. Scan the QR code on the NHS Test and Trace poster which is displayed where you arrive and then complete you details. If you don’t have a smart phone or you run into any problems our staff are on hand to help. Download the app from the App Store or Google Play.

  • All bookings will need to be made and paid for in advance online. This will help maintain social distancing with our team and allow us to carefully control the numbers of people at our sites
  • We’re taking tent bookings at all of our campsites but we've reduced he number of tents allowed on each site. This will help with numbers needing to use our toilet and shower blocks.
  • Face coverings are mandatory for all customers when entering the venue’s receptions, shops and catering outlet. They can be removed if instructed by a member of staff so that activities can be undertaken and for consuming food
  • Social distancing guidelines will be in place
  • You’ll need to refrain from socialising with other visitors to the site
  • Not allowing day visitors on to the site at this time
  • We’re not taking bookings for groups or rallies at this moment
At our sites
  • We’ve stepped up the cleaning frequency in our toilet and shower blocks and any communal areas
  • Our shops will be open and our staff will be protected by screens and wearing appropriate PPE. Please observe any distance markings and the limits on the number of people allowed in the communal areas – these are in place your and our staff’s safety
  • Hand sanitiser will be available on site but we also recommend that you bring your own as well
  • For our camping pods and safari tents a 72 hour period between occupations has been set to allow us time to thoroughly clean them in line with recommended COVID standards. You can watch our fogging process used on our camping pod and safari tents here
  • All our holiday lodges and thoroughly cleaned throughout after every guest using recommended cleaning agents, all furniture and carpets are sprayed as well. The lodges are fogged every month on top of their normal cleaning regime. All hot tubs are drained and cleaned between all guests.
