Managing Lee Valley's Woodlands
Guided by the site Ranger an opportunity to walk through Lee Valley Regional Parks woodlands. We will be discussing how and why the woodlands are managed to benefit wildlife.
There will be some tree identification and history surrounding tree species.
If you are interested in natural history or simply want a leisurely stroll in the countryside this is the walk for you.

Getting here
By bus: 250, 251 - 30 minutes walk through River Lee Country Park or 505, 555 stop in Holyfield Road 10 - 20 minute walk on busy road (no footpath)
By train: the nearest station is Cheshunt, it is then a pleasant two mile walk through River Lee Country Park. Follow the signs to Lee Valley Park Farms through this beautiful country park.
By car: Fishers Green is two miles north of Waltham Abbey on the B194 and just four miles from the M25.
