Family Bushcraft
Family time doesn’t have to be boring! Try something different, new and exciting with our family bushcraft course.
As part of this challenge you’ll learn more about bushcraft, the skills needed to be self-sufficient in a wild environment and how to become a more confident wild camper.
With families working as a team our skilled Rangers will teach you about tools, fire and wild food.
Hands on is the key element to these courses. You’ll learn how to safely handle and use bush tools like axes, bushcraft knives and saws as well as the camp craft that can be easily improvised with such tools. Fire lighting in the wild is important so we’ll teach you the science of fire, plus traditional and modern fire lighting techniques. The day will finish with a short walk around our base camp identifying and learning about wild edible plant species and other species that are poisonous.
