A Walk in the Park - Three Mills to Olympic Park Loop
Celebrating 50 years of Lee Valley Regional Park, join us for 'A Walk in the Park' and take in the breath taking scenery of the lower Lee Valley.
Starting at Three Mills Island near the historic Mill House which is the only remaining tidal Mill House in the UK, you will then head towards the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park.
Taking in Three Mills Green and the Abbey Mills pumping station, you will learn about the history of the area before going past the Yardley Box Factory then crossing Stratford High Road into Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park.
A leisurely stroll will loop round the Olympic Stadium, now home to West Ham United, and will join back up with the River Lea. Finish your walk by taking a gentle stroll along the tow path back to Three Mills. Look out for wildlife along this stretch, even Kingfishers have been seen along here!
This social and leisurely walk will lead you through some fantastic history, scenery and undiscovered part of London with something for everyone.
