We’re making essential repairs to the venue during this time.
These have been planned for the venue’s quietest period and will result in a much better skating surface through the construction of a new ice pad, cooling system and rink barrier.
These works are essential to ensure the ice centre is fully functioning for the next two years while Lee Valley Regional Park Authority investigates further plans to potentially create a new twin pad ice rink on the existing site.

Please be aware we have introduced car parking charges at Lee Valley Ice Centre.
This is because we’ve seen an increase in car park spaces occupied by drivers who are not visitors to the centre, Leyton Marsh or Walthamstow Marshes. The new railway station, Lea Bridge on Lea Bridge Road is expected to make the problem worse.
The fees are kept low for our customers and visitors to the open spaces – free for 30 minutes and then £1 for up to five hours. Blue Badge holders can park for free.
The charges are:
Up to 30 minutes
30 minutes to 5 hours
5 to 7 hours

The simplest method is to register online and if you do so, we’ll give you discount vouchers to use in the café at Lee Valley Ice Centre, Lee Valley Riding Centre and WaterWorks Centre as well as offers on public skating sessions.
