Following Government guidance on Coronavirus COVID-19 we have temporarily closed many of our venues (find out more here). We’re monitoring the situation closely and look forward to welcoming you back as soon as it’s safe to do so.
While our venues are closed, you may want to visit Lee Valley Regional Park’s open spaces. If you do, you must follow the latest Government advice on social distancing. While the park is a great place to walk, run or cycle, to enjoy nature and recharge, you must be responsible: do not meet up with friends, only visit with people you live with and only come once a day.
Being outside is good for you, but social distancing is essential for everyone’s health. If an area looks busy, go somewhere else.
Whether you want to relax in our large open spaces, pack up a picnic or explore our nature reserve. See what you can spot in the wildlife garden and see the willow dome, or head to the filter beds and bird watch from the hides.
Our café is perfect for chilling out with comfy sofas while you enjoy a bite to eat or drink, plus we serve fresh ground coffee, cappuccino and latte. Children can play basic floor games i.e. snakes and ladder, connect 4, table tennis (not full size). There are also brass rubbings and an insect microscope. Just the spot to recharge your batteries in a friendly relaxed atmosphere.
The WaterWorks Centre is just a stone’s throw from other fabulous activities, Lee Valley Ice Centre is just a ten minute walk away and Lee Valley Riding Centre five minutes. Walk or run on one of our routes through Leyton and Walthamstow Marshes.

We’re reopening all car parks which serve our green spaces seven days a week. With the changes to Government advice on Coronavirus, we feel that this is the right time to reopen them fully. The guidance is still to stay local and, of course, you must follow social distancing when you are out. If an area looks busy please go elsewhere. Our venue car parks remain closed. Details here
